Now a Days

How have I been feeling? mostly, like this:

when you are walking down the street, totally satiated because you just ate a yummy meal and are humming a tune to yourself, because no one is around you on a sunny morning. You catch a whiff of a sweet, sweet cinnamon roll massage your nostrils and you breathe in deeply. You don't need to go in the shop to buy one, because you are not hungry. You just want to enjoy life, to savor looking at the child in the stoller watching her hippy mom do yoga stretches at 7 am on the sidewalk, and see a happy, grinning dog running after their human partner. Content. Moments like that have been crowding my days now more, after the horrendous month I experienced in April. Enough armchair poetry for one post. Here is some real news in my life.

New York City!!!! My work will be up here:

Am shipping it next week and am excited! PDX artists in the Big Apple. The first time since like 2004 that artwork of mine has been on the East Coast.

Am working also on my friend Susan's candy zine. cute idea. There is a Yoko Zine of my own that will be hitting the printers next week, too. But will not be available until June, most likely.

Then in August I'll be showing at Homo A Go Go!
More on that as it transpires.

Also very much in my brain is artwork/installation I am going to have up at my new friend Emily Baker's fantastic shoppe, Sword and Fern. The theme is healing, childhood, and inspiration. in the form of does. Again, more on that. That will be up in June! So I better get started on it, ha ha.

Are these posts boring to my 3 readers? I mostly just do it for myself, but maybe I should develop some good jokes to tell on the blog.
