It's been a crazy week for me-which is why I haven't blogged about my ART OPENING until 4 hours before-hand. Whoops. (Crazy is relatively speaking, I'm certainly not on the Left Bank or anything right now.) I have an opening tonight, at Sword and Fern. A totally totally wonderful shop. 811 East Burnside. Run by the incredibly talented, sweet, and all around right on Emily Baker.

Please come see my new installation. It is made out of graphite, paper, hand dyed fabric, stones, and trees. It is called "New Work". This installation created especially for the space takes on the subject of love lost and found. A forest of creatures, healing plants and patterns has been created as a meditation space for the viewer to ruminate on support, solace, and the numerous gains that stem from loss.
